#1 – Baking Soda

Baking soda is a common ingredient used in cooking. A lot of people do know that, but also works as a natural whitener for teeth. I’ve been using it whenever I see yellowish forming on my teeth. You just add a few drops of hydrogen peroxide to a teaspoon of baking soda and mix until it becomes paste. Use it the same way how you put toothpaste on your toothbrush and start brushing all corners of your teeth.

It’s important that you don’t regularly use this because baking soda and hydrogen peroxide have strong compounds that can scrub enamel of teeth. Once enamel is erased it would stay that away.

#2 – Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is a cleansing agent that can remove stain, even from teeth! Its acidity works in removing any yellowish stain. To ensure you get the best result, use it at least twice a day for a month. It takes that long to see your teeth whiter, but it’s worth it. This does not mean that you replace your regular toothpaste. You still have to brush your teeth with your preferred toothpaste after using apple cider vinegar.

Some people use lemon peels or orange peels in whitening teeth, too. You must not throw those peels but rinse and apply on your teeth and brush along. There’s still acid in this part of the fruits that help remove stains. But doing this should still be followed by brushing teeth with regular toothpaste and rinsing the mouth with an anti-bacterial solution.
